Join artist Harriet Bilton at our monthly art club to experiment with different art materials, processes and ideas; inspired by the Art Gallery’s collection and the exhibitions on show.
You are welcome to drop your child off for the session or to stay and enjoy it with them. Tickets are £12 per child.
We will run Young Ones twice on 20th May, at the following times:
- 10:30am – 12:30pm
- 1:30pm – 3:30pm

Explore the possibilities of layering colour with press-print and create a stunning trio of prints inspired by Spring at Tudor House and Garden. There will be two options, for little learners and those with more confidence.
This workshop is designed for adults and children to enjoy together with a minimum age of six.
Children must be accompanied and adults have a choice between a FREE chaperone ticket or can purchase a full priced ticket themselves and join in. Tickets for workshop participants are £7.50 each. There will be step-by-step instructions provided by a member of our talented Learning Team.

Join us as we celebrate all things made of LEGO® bricks, Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 April.
Hunt the brick mini-eggs, marvel at the eggstraordinary displays in the main hall and enjoy our free build room for creative LEGO builders. Book tickets to the museum on Saturday 1 April, or Sunday 2 April to join in the fun!

Two days of investigation, imagination and discovery for children aged 6 to 12yrs who love being creative and learning through fun activities. Led by the experienced cultural services learning team, at Kids’ Club children will explore the past, experience the museum and gallery and make really cool things!
Tuesday 11th April- Titanic Day- Step back in time to 1912 and discover loads of interesting things about the world’s most famous ship. Create an arty Titanic, explore the museum and take part in lots of other exciting activities.
Wednesday 12th April – Southampton Time Travellers. How did Roman’s decorate their houses? What did Saxon fashion look like? And what’s special about how Tudors liked to keep hydrated? Explore all this and more in a day full of fun crafts and activities.
These workshops will run from 9am through to 4.30pm and are based at SeaCity and the City Art Gallery. We will move between venues. Please drop off from 8.45am and pick up from the SeaCity main entrance and provide snacks, lunch and a drink. A registration form must be completed prior to arrival.
£35 per child, per day or £60 if both days of Culture Club are booked. We highly recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
