SeaCity Museum is fully accessible for wheelchair users, including the café, toilets, and classrooms with fixed seating on the first floor in the main hall, Southampton’s Titanic Story and Southampton Gateway to the world. Our Customer Service Assistants are also trained in disability awareness so please ask a member of staff for any assistance you may need during your visit.

We offer free admission for companions accompanying visitors with disabilities.
Toilets, including accessible toilets can be found on the ground and first floors. The accessible toilet on the first floor is accessed through a security door, a member of staff will be nearby and will be happy to unlock the door for you.
Baby change facilities are available on the ground floor.
We are currently not able to offer a Changing Places toilet.
All areas of the museum apart from the clock tower have step-free access. The first floor can be accessed via a lift from the ground floor.
Due to fire regulations, only four visitors using wheelchairs are able to access the upstairs of the museum at any one time.
We have a limited number of wheelchairs available to borrow for the duration of your visit. Please ask at the front desk if you require one.
Our staff are fully trained to support visitors who require step free access during an emergency. Evacuation chairs and refuge points are available on all levels.
Assistance dogs are welcome in all areas of the museum.
Large print guides are available at the front desk.
Audio induction loop is fitted at the front desk, the shop and the café.
There are several blue badge parking bays close to the museum. The nearest is on Marlands Road, which is only a short walk from the main entrance. Further details on nearby blue badge parking can be found here.
For reasons of security and safety, SeaCity Museum has a maximum bag size policy in place. The maximum size of bag allowed in the venue is 56 x 25 x 45 cm. Wheeled luggage, including cabin bags, and suitcases are not allowed and need to be stored. You can store these luggage items with staff at the front desk for £3 per item (For SeaCity Customers only). Please ask at the front desk on arrival. Our luggage storage is limited, and alternative storage is available nearby at Kiwi Education, Burlington House, 23-25 Portland Terrace, Southampton, SO14 7EN (call 023 8017 0380 for more details). Please do not leave bags unattended at any time. SeaCity Museum reserves the right to vary or alter these conditions without prior notice.
A buggy park is located on the ground floor opposite the front desk. Buggies and pushchairs are welcome throughout the museum if you would prefer to keep them with you.
