We offer a bespoke INSET service for schools that have specific training and development requirements. Whether arts or heritage themed, if you have an idea in mind or would like us to suggest training ideas for you, please contact us and we will be happy to discuss your needs.
The aim of our INSET service is to provide teachers with an opportunity to access continuous professional development in the area of arts and heritage. Our days will always include:
- Inspiring activities that build confidence
- Useful hints and tips on delivering arts and heritage sessions in class
- An introduction to Southampton Arts and Heritage
Cross-curricular training
Depict history through art; link art with maths and science; explore geography through stories from the past. Take one picture or object and inspire a project that crosses the curriculum.
Work with our unique collections and experienced educators to see how you can bring art and history to life in other subjects.
