Event Information
Explore working with wire and how we can create portraits using this medium at this fun and accessible workshop. Programmed to accompany our portraiture exhibition in collaboration with the National Portrait Gallery, we will explore different techniques, proportions of the human head and how to express the characteristics which make us who we are to create a sculpture of a face that is familiar to you; whether it’s a famous one or a friend’s!
This family session will last approximately 90 minutes and is suitable for children aged 7yrs+, young people and adults to enjoy together. You do not need a ticket as an accompanying adult but if you would like to participate alongside your family please do purchase a ticket for yourself. You will be most welcome to join in!
